Design-build delivery of a new 22,695-square-foot addition serving up to 100 special-needs middle and high school students. The single-story CMU and steel structure connects to East English Village Preparatory Academy and features 12 classrooms, science and computer labs, art room, and occupational and physical therapy spaces. Interior CMU walls use color to organize areas, and the exterior brick pattern echoes the existing high school. Site work added staff parking and dedicated bus drop-off. The project is pursuing LEED Silver certification.
